Dragonflight fishing

I now have gotten 31 copper coins, 2 silver, and 1 gold. I have also gotten 7 vials with recipes. I have underlight angler and thats it. Ive caught 10 copper 3 silver coins, recipes in bottle i think 6 , a few of the khazorite fishing things, and I have probably 6 hours fishing total since launch but most of it done at the tuskarr fishing spot. Based on his comment and the perception comment Im thinking neither really matter much. The guy talking about the group conch things is right that is a conch and coin farm. I have also done the raid lunker farming, and coins there are pretty slow too but only just a tad faster than solo fishing. Old world lure? Old world enchant? Old world pole? You bet. I too maxed perception. I thought it was a waste of time. Then I fished up 2 gold coins in one casts with a message that perception got me the bonus.

Dragonflight fishing

This has been a thing for awhile, all you had to do was set your interact with keybind to a mouse over macro and position your screen so the bobber fills up the screen. This way your mouse is always over the bobber and when you hear the sound you hit the keybind and than hit the keybind to cast fish and repeat. Also has implications for opening dialogue with crowded quest givers. I couldn't seem like it to work correctly. I would have to rotate my character ever so slightly to face the bobber perfectly to get it to register as intractable. But if I'm doing that I can just use the already useful interact with mouseover keybind. I'll try again this evening to see if something has been fixed since I tried last. I'm sure there is some critical piece of the puzzle that would make this more efficient, but imagining fishing on 10 different characters with different keybinds and audio queues sounds like a pretty cool DDR-type game. You can make it show an icon above the bobber when it's in the narrow range of interaction.
