The highest discipline level is 9, and there are separate discipline levels for each vocation. Upon leveling up, each of the six primary stats Health , Stamina , Strength , Magick , Defense , and Magick Defense will increase in an amount determined by current Vocation. If you're going for a tank, focus on Fighter for the stats, and Warrior for the augments. EDIT: to clarify, I played strider, mage and sorc for augments.
