Hello all First I just want to state that I have been a long time lurker and have used the advice from this form recently to remodel a bathroom so I am pretty familiar with most of the terms, brands, and techniques used. However, my current project involves installing ledgestone for an accent interior wall. I originally purchased Mapei thinset but I took it back and purchased this Mapei Natural Stone Marble Premixed Adhesive Yes I know it is premixed but the area will be subject to no moisture and I figured I will save myself the hassle of mixing. Now, I plan on installing the ledgestone in 2 locations. One has existing drywall, and one is a new wall with new drywall that is not yet taped.

I've chosen a level 5 finish, so it will be smoothwall. Most textures are applied over a level 3 finish, but texture makes more of a mess, and honestly, I'm better at smooth wall.
