Earth costume our 4-year-old has been interested in our tabletop globe and asking lots of geographic questions, I decided to make this an educational project we worked on together, earth costume. This project is affordable. I figured paper macheing over a big balloon could give us a large structure that was ridged and lightweight. I had not worked with paper mache for 30 years so I was really just hoping this would work.

Dressing up in a festive outfit is a great way to celebrate any holiday. But some of them can be a little tricky. It's easy to figure out what to wear for the end or the start of the year. Coming up with a great outfit for the world's favorite date night is a snap and all you need is something green and lucky for the middle of March! But when April 22 comes around and we're all thinking about the state of the world, you'll be happy to know that we have a ton of great Earth Day costumes to choose from, too!

That's fair. But here's the thing, we're ignoring billions of years of natural occurrences. What about tons of burning lava shooting into the air isn't rock and roll? The earth literally ripped it into pieces. What about that doesn't slay? Sure, maybe the earth doesn't play drums, strum on a guitar, or scream into a microphone but we think geysers, canyons, and the general creation of the universe's only known life forms is just as cool as coming up with a top forty hit or even a platinum album. It's time to pay tribute to the one and only, original rock and roller
