Welcome to Eden Cottage Yarns, where you will find beautifully hand dyed yarns, original designs, and more. The yarn is dyed with an emphasis on simple but gorgeous colours, as well as sustainability, and ECY has become synonymous with a muted palette of semi-solid shades. Victoria's designs can be found on our website, on Payhip HERE , and have appeared in most of the British knitting magazines too. Having always been creative, and interested in textiles, Victoria taught herself to knit in whilst at university in Dundee. At the time there was little yarn available in shops, and unable to find the colours she wanted she had a go at dyeing her own. Over the next few years she continued dyeing in her spare time, and also taught herself to spin, amongst other things. Ten years on it has continued to grow, and Victoria now works and lives! In , after seven years Victoria finally moved out of the kitchen and into a purpose-built dye shed; and took on three more staff Laura, Claire, and Debbie to help with admin, plus yarn processing and packing orders.
