Emerald Fruit Barn is an award winning retail and wholesale business, offering their valued customers quality market fresh fruit and vegetables, and so much more. We support local, Aussie farmers first. We also have a range of continental groceries, pasta and sauces, local flowers, freshly churned peanut butter, dips, cheeses, nuts, jams, biscuits, chocolates, relishes and pickles from local producers… and so much more! As everyone is home and becoming more focused on incorporating extra fruit and veggies in their diets for better health, we have had stronger than usual demand for our fresh produce. However, to choose something, it would be raising our 2 gorgeous kids while running a business. We are lucky to have them. We have had an amazing amount of support from our local community. We have absolutely wonderful customers. Also, we are so happy that there are those who have discovered us and are so amazed by the freshness, quality and value for money we offer compared to where they previously shopped. Lots ha ha! While we do have regrets, we try not to dwell on them. The future is positive.

We have a fantastic assortment of edible plants, from classic varieties like lemons, plums and nectarines to more exotic varieties such as native finger limes, persimmons and kiwi fruit. We also sell nut trees, including chestnut, a favourite of many visitors to the Dandenong Ranges. What could be sweeter than having your favourite fruit growing in your backyard? Explore our range today, and if you want to know more about what fruit trees will work best for your garden, speak to our helpful horticulturists on-site. A traditional variety of lemon, it has medium to thick skin and plenty of strong acid juice. Use the rind, cooking and juice. Lisbon produces a heavy crop of fruit from winter to early spring. The fruit is of excellent quality with thin skin, good juice and high acidity. Meyer lemons are a very popular choice.
