Home » Changes to After Hours. As valued clients, we need to inform you of the changes that are being made to our afterhour service. Over the last 3 years, a number of local veterinary practices have made the decision not to offer their clients an afterhour service. This has resulted in a substantial increase in demand for our vets after close of business. As many of you may have seen in recent ABC and Win News, there is a national veterinary shortage of which we are not immune to. Staff at our veterinary clinics are working hard to service clients, however this increase in demand placed on us by other clinics and the shortage of vets is leading to increased pressure, both physically and emotionally.
