We did not see any other steamed or cooked fish unfortunately. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Why have a dress- code on the website for the Epicurean , if it looked like you could come as you wanted. It would be nice if the management tells staff to refuse entry to diners that are in non appropriate attire More. The venue is light and airy, however, it does not give one the feeling of newness that was expected from a new venue. The best food item was the rock oysters Attending at the second half of the lunch session was part of the problem that we experienced: a fair amount of food were obviously out there for too long: the honey soy duck was really tough, the crepes were dry, so was the Sichuen chicken and Mongolian lamb. Did not see any great cooking skill in any hot dish unfortunately. The dessert had a good variety and some were at acceptable standards while others lacked finesse. If you really wanted to give it a try, stick to cold dishes and some desserts. Good food and wine. A wide variety of food and choice, but they need to work on their etiquette with treating their customers as being trustworthy. Suspicion fell on us when we were leaving merely because a different waiter took payment.

I booked for and was allowed to stay until closing. However when my friends went they did have a 2 hour time limit. Wonderfully decorated with ceiling to floor windows that flood the whole dining area with sunlight during the day. Spacious and comfortable seating areas with adequate privacy and spacing. Although, some of the seats did look a little low for my liking. The spread at the buffet was more than enough.
