The Arc 5 family of electric razors from Panasonic is certainly at the very top when it comes to performance and even value for money. Choosing a Panasonic Arc 5 and understanding the differences between the various models is a real challenge for any potential buyer. Are the new generations actually better than the older ones? Will the latest foils fit an older Arc 5? These are all fair questions and anyone should be able to find an answer before spending a considerable amount of money on a shaver.

The Panasonic ES-LV95 follows this trend by packing five blades — and sure enough it has the shaving performance to make it a superior breed of shaver. As befitting a flagship electric shaver, it also comes supplied with a cleaning station to flush the facial fluff off all those blades at the push of a button. But there are plenty of other nice touches that make this wet-and-dry model the best shaver currently on the market. The ES-LV95 is dominated, quite understandably, by that five-blade head. The middle comb blade is designed for longer hairs, the two either side of it have lift-and-cut foils for hairs that lie flat, and the outer foils are for cutting down close to the skin.

Multi-Flex 5D Head. The two comfort rollers are now silver, so you can easily tell this new foil apart from the previous ones. So it would need to account for that as well. And since the performance of those is pretty much identical, you should definitely buy the one that costs less — whichever that may be. One more comment please, I noticed that it is extremely difficult to get hold of the detergent of Panasonic shaver cleaner, and if available it is something like 25 dollars each from Japan only. I hope you would agree with me that we are in an era where things are reaching the ultimate advancement. The same is true for electric shavers. Nowadays, it is mostly the refinement of existing features than adding any new ones.
My plan is to update this review every so often; or as the shaving quality changes from today's experience. I am worrying about LV version that might come with old batteries as it was released in But anyway, I think it is worth it anyway. If the price is the same, I guess the CV51 would offer more: better build quality, newer outer foil, compact body, premium hard travel case. Hi Mark, Thank you for your kind comment, much appreciated. Sincerely, John Reply. I see the CLV available on Amazon, but it did not see it described in your article above. There's just no reason to rub it around my face any longer. Add to that the fact that you prefer the ES-LV67 design and the choice is clear. Any thoughts, suggestions would be extermely helpful. Best, John Reply. Or just bad luck with blades and cutters? Report an issue with this product or seller.
You are not right. I can defend the position. Write to me in PM, we will discuss.
