Evelyn Deavor is the main antagonist of Incredibles 2. She is revealed to be the true Screenslaver and evil mastermind behind the Screenslaver character who is her henchman and puppet near the climax of the film. Evelyn appears to be loyal, kind-hearted, caring, and eager to help others. She is also a brilliant and intelligent character. She is, however, often laid-back, as she seems unworried of anything. She encourages her brother to keep on making heroes protect the world at whatever cost. However, despite being helpful, she also seems to be really strict and always takes things really seriously. It would later turn out to be all a fabrication of her true nature: a vengeful, cunning, hateful, bitter, mean-spirited, cold-hearted and ruthless person who would do anything to rid the world of all things super and to avenge the deaths of her parents as she sees them as making people weak and unable to save themselves from other threats. She is also shown to be cruel and sadistic, as shown when she showed little concern and maybe even amusement when Elastigirl collapsed from hypoxia, as well as pettiness as she remorselessly framed an innocent pizza delivery guy to be her decoy because he was surly and for presumably delivering cold pizza. Despite her villainous nature, Evelyn does have redeeming qualities, such as her caring about her father and brother, but crosses the line into becoming a villain by using extreme methods to turn the public against Supers.
She puts the pieces of the scheme together, and Evelyn forces the goggles on her to prevent her from taking action.
She is the brainchild behind Winston 's company, as well as his sister and business partner. She shares her villain title with her puppet, the Screenslaver , who unwillingly plays the masked villain in her plan to keep Supers illegal forever due to a past tragedy. Evelyn and her brother Winston were born the children of Mr. One night, burglars broke into the Deavor home. Instead of hiding in the safe room with his wife, Mr. Deavor attempted to call Gazerbeam and Fironic for help. Unfortunately, this was after the Super Relocation Act was passed, and therefore, there was no response, resulting in the burglars shooting and killing him.
Pixar's The Incredibles franchise is one of the most popular that the studio has ever created, and with these being classic superhero stories, they were always going to require villains. Pixar is typically very good at creating villains for their heroes to overcome, and the two Incredibles movies are no different in that regard. Both Syndrome and Evelyn Deavor are fantastic characters that provide equally great threats to The Incredibles in completely different ways. While each character does an effective job at providing obstacles for the family to overcome, they are completely unique as characters, both in terms of their personality and how they go about their business. Superhero villains having an evil lair is something that works perfectly, and that is something that Syndrome has going for him over Evelyn Deavor.

When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone voice of Samuel L. Helen Parr, known in the Superworld as Elastigirl, hung up her supersuit to raise the family with husband Bob, leaving their crime-fighting days behind them. Bob Parr cherishes his days as Mr. Incredible—a popular Super with mega-strength and the power to singlehandedly take out the bad guys. Jack-Jack Parr, the baby of the family, likes to sit back with a bottle and a good story. Well-versed in gibberish with a penchant for throwing food, Jack-Jack may seem like a typical toddler, but he just might turn out to be the most powerful Parr in the household—if only his family had a clue of what this kid can really do.

When Winston explains the story and death of his father, still blaming the Relocation Act, Evelyn notably suggests that their father could have saved himself by hiding away in the safe room, but Winston strongly disagrees. She then saves her life with the help of another super, Voyd, by falling after her, catching her, and bringing her down slowly to the deck of the DevTech ship.
