The new Ford F has no shortage of party tricks, but the star of the interior show is without a doubt what Ford calls the "Interior Work Surface" option. This is a rather dull name for the feature, if you ask us, f150 folding center console, especially since it's describing a fold-out center console table and stow-away gear selector. With the push of a button, the gear f150 folding center console stows away into a recess in the center console, allowing the table to be folded forward from the armrest and creating a completely flat work surface large enough to accommodate paperwork or even a small laptop.

Is it just a hinge? Foldout console work surface. Thread Tools. Likes: 5. Received 7 Likes on 6 Posts. After seeing the same build I ordered minus roof at the lot, it looks like the centre console work surface that folds out over the folding shifter is just a hinge and latch. Hear me out.

Center console vs fold down seat-what option is this? Thread Tools. I've been looking at ' trucks online, and I've noticed that while many XLT's have the front buckets with center console, some have the split bench front bench with column shifter. What option package was the front buckets part of and what else came in this package? I actually prefer the front bench and column shifter but wondering what else I might lose out on by getting a truck that has them. View Public Profile.

Talk about your 8th and 9th generation Ford F trucks. Thread Tools. The center console is up and I want it down so I can use the armrest, but it will not fold down. Anybody have any suggestions how I can fix this?
