There are two Health wells available to players on this encounter, one on the West and the other on the East side of the circular combat zone. Upon beginning the event, players will be teleported to the south side of the platform and Phase 1 begins. Malthael will surround himself with a gret colored ring. Any players standing inside of the ring will take damage. This ability also gives Malthael a chance to reflect projectiles. This ability is typically used before Malthael uses the next ability, Charge. Malthael will target a random player and charge at them. Any players hit by charge will be knocked back and take a small amount of damage. Malthael will periodically summon a Death Fog and slowly moves around the platform. Players in the Death Fog will take heavy damage over time until they move out of the Death Fog. During Phase 1, Malthael will periodically teleport to the center of the room and begin channeling this abilty. While channeling this ability, white orbs will slowly move towards the edge of the platform in a straight line. Any players that come in contact with an orb will take heavy damage and be knocked back.
