In an official announcement on its website this morning, the company stated that starting December 9, it will be redirecting all visitors to its sister-website, MetaCritic. Considering the fact that GameRankings has been around for 20 years, that means it's one of the oldest video game websites on the Internet. This gives it an honorable accolade - not many websites can say the same. Thankfully, the situation isn't entirely that bad for the GameRankings team.
