Goku height and weight

I'm here to play Devil's Advocate for why Goku's allegedly official stats are most certainly possible.

Alright, so Goku is stated to weigh in at lbs but we all know that Akira Toriyama hasn't been taking his meds for a few years. How heavy would you say Goku is if you had to guess? He is 5'9" and extremely muscular. Even his height is questionable. I'm 5'9 and I don't tower over people like Goku does in his universe, then again lots of people in dbz are short. The Japanese are so weird with their weight estimations. The same thing happens in Street Fighter, big macho muscleman Ryu is not pounds.

Dragon Ball Z is full of unique, diverse characters, featuring a range of species both from Earth and intergalactic planets. Many of these characters have had their ages, heights, and birthdays confirmed at some point in the Dragon Ball franchise. But for those characters who do not have such information confirmed, Dragon Ball fans have used context clues to figure out the most likely answers. A few time-altering events occur within Dragon Ball Z. Several characters die in the series but are revived. Once they have been revived, their bodies typically appear a year or so older, but they have not aged. This ages their body by a year or two. However, the time has not moved as fast outside of the chamber, so the characters have not aged as much.

But how tall is Goku? We first meet him as a boy in Dragon Ball so would expect some growth throughout the series but even as an adult his height seems to fluctuate. When we first meet him as a year-old boy, he is cm 4ft 1 , and then while fighting Piccolo Jr, he is cm 5ft 7. Throughout the years of Dragon Ball, and the countless manga and animes, there must have been s of people drawing Goku.

Granted, saiyans are fictional beings, it's possible that they use their ki to adjust their weight or their muscles are inhumanly lightweight, it's an anime bro. Meteor Mission! I am aware that some weights look unrealistic - especially for powerful fighters such as Goku or Vegeta if we compare them to professional wrestlers and MMA athletes - but these are the official ones, and we should not forget that Dragon Ball is a fantasy series. Goku and Vegeta are Saiyans, not humans, so we can't go about applying human standards of weight to them. Use your keyboard! Like Goku could life a car with a PL of 10 but Yamcha can't?
