The dashboard provided users with a graphical user interface and at-a-glance view of key performance indicators relevant to a drilling process. This helped the drilling team to do various analyses and draw conclusions on the performance of the rig. The data was then used to optimize the drilling process further. The next phase of my internship was the most exciting and perhaps a little bit challenging as well. The field was 40 kilometers south of Fort McMurray in a remote location.
