I just purchased my Hero 10 Black and I'm not very gopro overheating that this thing overheats in less than 25 mins of usage. My 10 is about 1 month old and have been frustrated with the lack of usage due to overheating.

I've seen numerus posts here and elsewhere about how to deal with the known GoPro overheating issue. But here's my problem. I do extended recordings in warm conditions. By "extended" I mean hours straight using external power. I know external power can be a problem for overheating. I also don't care about what generation GoPro. I've seen videos with a HERO3 and the quality is fine for my purposes.

I personally never shoot longer than 1min clips and always at max 2,7k so i have never experienced it myself. I think its harsh to put all gopros in one "basket". What i learned after all those years is that not a single gopro is identical, they all have unique combination of issues. No-one will be shot-down because they have an issue with GoPro - we are completely free to air our frustrations and annoyances here, no issue with that from an admin side at all. Hence why the thread has not been removed.

I'm planning to order a camera, but the still not decided which one should I ordedr Hero 11 or Action 3. I had Hero 9 with audio pops issues , but it was stolen, so I need new one.
