General Graardor is often considered the easiest of the God Wars Dungeon bosses. His primary attack is melee, he has a strong secondary ranged attack, and the three minions in the boss room also attack with all three combat styles, melee, ranged and magic. The most common tactic to use at Bandos is to use melee, while wearing high defence armour, paying particular attention to range and magic defence. It is, however, possible to use both ranged and magic strategies, making General Graardor one of the most flexible bosses in terms of your options. When entering the dungeon, you will take damage from a variety of different monsters if you are not properly prepared.

He is the only known living member of the Ourg race in Old School Runescape. He is found in Bandos' Stronghold, which requires a Strength level of 70 and a hammer to access. To enter his quarters, players must have killed 40 of Bandos' followers throughout the dungeon, with goblins being the easiest of the followers to kill. Like other God Wars Dungeon bosses, Graardor roams around a rectangular room with his bodyguards until a player enters, attacking them on sight. He attacks primarily with melee, and his bodyguards use a different combat style each. Graardor may also use a ranged attack where he slams the ground. He is one of the last known surviving members of the ourg race, a species of powerful ogre -like creatures who served Bandos' armies, which almost completely died out over the course of numerous wars. He has no weakness and moderately high defence, and cannot be stunned or poisoned. He attacks with a melee arm thrust that can hit max damage. He also has a Ranged shockwaves attack that is capable of hitting all players in the room for up to damage. Additionally, he has three minions: Sergeant Strongstack , who uses melee; Sergeant Steelwill , who uses Magic ; and Sergeant Grimspike , who uses Ranged. He is the only monster in the game to drop the Bandos hilt , used to construct the popular Bandos godsword. He also drops tier 70 melee power armor: Bandos armour.

General Graardor is one of the most popular of the five God Wars Dungeon bosses to kill, as he is arguably one of the easiest, but players should not take him too lightly. To enter Bandos's Stronghold , players must have at least 70 Strength and a hammer tool belt works. To get to the boss chamber, players must kill 40 minions of Bandos in Bandos's Stronghold or the main God Wars Dungeon area. The best monsters to build killcount on now are the spiritual rangers in Bandos's Stronghold, providing you have the required 63 Slayer. If you do not have the required slayer level to combat Spiritual rangers, it is recommended that you fight Bandosians in the northwest corner of the main room, as these are generally lower level than the minions within the stronghold. It is best to kill goblins when possible, compared to hobgoblins or jogres because of their higher life points. Orks can be killed if the player wishes, due to having the same amount of life points as goblins and are very close to each other. When using magic the ability Corruption Blast can greatly help to quickly increase your kill count as it does a lot of damage to the creatures around you without making them aggressive. Another advantage to this ability in the God Wars dungeon is that it is likely that the monsters will kill each other and if tagged by you will grant you the kill count for that faction. The only real stat requirement for the Bandos Room is 70 Strength although higher combat levels are highly recommended. The best in slot weapon for the attacker role is the Scythe but since this is a two handed weapon it should be in your inventory. The second best option is the Ghrazi Rapier and third best would be the abyssal tentacle. Note: to avoid aggressive monsters you will need a bandos and zamorak item.
