Great wolf lodge check-out procedure

This guide can help you navigate and prepare for your first family vacation to Great Wolf Lodge. All opinions are my own. Check-in to the resort rooms begins at 4pm, or as soon as your room becomes available, but you can start enjoying all that Great Wolf Lodge has to offer as early as 1pm on the day of your arrival! Upon check-in, all the children will be given complimentary wolf ears. They are so darling and perfect for pictures! My kids loved these and many of the kids around the resort are sporting their ears morning, noon, and night! This smart band will also act as your key to get into your room and you can add a credit card account linked to the band as well to make any purchases a breeze! The Indoor water park is open beginning at 9am most days. You can check the event calendar for the days and locations you are looking at to determine hours for each of the attractions. There are showers, lockers, and changing rooms all in the indoor water park area of the resort. Towels are available and included with your stay, but you will need to scan your wristband to both check-out and return your towels. You can even swap out damp towels for fresh ones as may be needed. This will let you hit the water park for a couple of hours in the afternoon and then change for the evening and explore everything else there is to do around the resort. There is so much more to experience at Great Wolf Lodge beyond just the water park, and I highly recommend taking it all in. There are also quick bite options in the water park area for your convenience if no one is ready to leave the pool!

Lifeguards are provided to monitor and respond to emergencies, but not to baby-sit children.

The most fun for families with young children is definitely staying in one of the themed suites: Wolf Den, KidKamp and KidCabin. Bunk beds, a themed kids area and even a kids-only television make these the most requested in our family. The kind of room we use most when we travel with extended family members is the Loft Fireplace Suite. This is a great option for grandparents to travel with kids and grandkids, or for two families to split the cost of a stay! Many of the suites sleep up to eight adults. There are so many options! There are many different water features, including play areas for toddlers, slides families can ride together, an awesome water coaster, a wave pool and so much more.

Coast Guard approved life jackets are available on a first come, first serve basis. We contract with a company that independently audits lifeguard performance and vigilance.
