Growing up in Greenville and working on various farms taught me a lot about hard work and perseverance. Those lessons served me well in my football career and I continue to feel the support of so many in the Darke County community through the work we do at the Light Foundation. Main Street Greenville's Annual Hometown Holiday Horse Parade will take place in downtown Greenville on Saturday, Nov embe r 23rd, with a Celebration kicking off at 3PM to include, pony rides, petting zoo, horse trolley, spirits, dini ng, food trucks, holiday shopping, entertainment, and more! The annual tradition has kicked off downtown Greenville's holiday season for two decades now with lighted horse-drawn carriages, hitches and riders. An estimated 8, spectators attended the event year after year which is why it's been listed in Ohio Magazines best parade list 4 times in the last 10 years. A detailed schedule of events will be available here in late summer or early fall once all the plans are finalized so please check back then. It's the most wonderful time of the year! This annual tradition has kicked-off the holiday season in the downtown district for the past decade and a half. Over 90 lighted horse drawn carriages, hitches and riders illuminate downtown and the sound of jingle bells and horse hooves ushers in the holiday season. This grand event was voted "Best Community Parade" in the state by readers of Ohio Magazine for ! Room type will be a single queen standard room, and includes free breakfast, parking, and wi-fi, as well as offering an on-site restaurant. In addition to the overnight stay, the package includes 2 tickets to the Horse Parade Dinner Buffet at Romer's Catering in downtown Greenville.
