I have so many books, poems, quotes and ideas I want to explore from this book. Still lovely and Burton-Morgan is a great writer and narrator. Each chapter seemed to focus on a different important person in her life and I love how you can tell that she is made up of these interactions and important people in her life resulting in her grimoire. One of my favs of the year. Now I have new traditions I want to start in my family. Every other chapter includes directions for a simple spell ranging from candle magic to letter writing to ghosts.

A grimoire may be seen as a spell book, but it can be so much more. I listened to the audiobook read by Hilarie herself and was sad when it ended far too soon. So much enthusiasm and excitement. I loved both of them in their own ways.
