Grrl power

My current favourite webcomic and the only one that I keep up with that has anything to do with spice, Grrl Power is, at its heart, a slice of life comedy about superheros, grrl power.

The following comic desperately wants to be porn without actually being porn. Contains more fanservice and fetish fuel than any actual sex, usually patterned off of bad harem comedy anime. View with caution. The art is passable to a degree, although it looks like 5 people with varying levels of skill and different drawing styles were assigned to draw this and they weren't allowed to communicate with each other. I'll let you know when they get to something that can pass on its own as a storyline. So far it's mostly being told that things exist and Seinfeld with superpowers. All of the characters are obnoxious, perverted, undeveloped, stupid, or vessels to deliver one-liners.

Sydney quickly becomes a unique asset to the team, her encyclopedic knowledge of superhero tropes making her surprisingly adept at navigating this new world she finds herself in.

A comic about super heroines. Doing the things that super powered girls do. Fighting crime, saving the world, dating, shopping, etc. To me, the most memorable moments in comics and shows are the scenes with amusing character interaction, you know the issue the X-men spend playing baseball, or the moments where you see the ice queen warming up to the underdog nerd character, or the scene that establishes that two tertiary characters have a buddy cop thing going. If Wolverine fights Sabertooth for the 47th time, who really cares? I wanted a comic that focuses mostly on those interstitial scenes I enjoy so much. Grrl Power, at least the idea of it, started off quite a while ago when a friend and me were sitting around griping that we could never stick with a comic project for very long. The idea I came up with to motivate myself was to draw an all girl super hero team. I thought I could keep my interest up if I was drawing well packaged hot women all the time.
