Notice how despite their seeming to be less light in the first pic, the food props are brighter and more natural looking? They look like objects with color but placed in the shade. The out of place versions which are the same ydr models look almost blackened. But when I shine light directly on them, they return to having their full color. And here's the motel room recreated in another location, by spawning all the ydr objects that comprise that interior, plus the same props that were in the motel room. Again, the props are so bright that they're eye-catchingly out of place, despite the fact that I haven't successfully replicated all the light sources in the room yet. I'm not a 3d modeler, so this is all new to me.
