By JustTrogdor. To start I am in no way affiliated with GW2 Efficiency. That said, I just saw on GW2 Reddit that they are celebrating their 8 year anniversary. In my opinion this is the best tool made available to GW2 players. When you use your API key which is read only so no worry about account security on the site you open up access to a lot of tools. You can view a ton of account stats, search your account for items, view crafting costs and track progress, view your bank and material storage, see your characters birthdays, track achievements, and view things you have unlocked among many other things. We can't post images here anymore but here is the 8th anniversary infographic they posted some might find interesting. I've been playing since and GW2E has been a very valuable tool. So thanks to the the people behind it. I hope this thread can stay in General Discussion because it is a topic about a valuable GW2 related website and IMO the creators deserve the attention for making a great tool for GW2 players. I also found of interest some stats that they claim based on tracked accounts: ,,, Karma earned, 1,, Legendaries owned, 1,,, blodstone dust hoarded, and 17,,, items salvaged. Keep in mind those stats only include players that made accounts on GW2E and not the entire player base. Congrats to the GW2E team on your 8th anniversary and for doing such a great job contributing to the GW2 community. I think it's a great site.

I know someone who insisted Tears of the Kingdom was never going to come out, gw2 efficiency, apparently on the basis that Nintendo knew they couldn't beat Breath of the Wild so they were just going to end of their longest running and most popular franchises. I've been playing since and GW2E has been a very gw2 efficiency tool.

By Woof. I seldomly see threads to pop up and are used as indicator if living stories are good investment or not. But there are some some inconsistencies , about that. For example , based on the site , if you search for "Fractal Rush Participant" old community event , for doing fractals , it has 76 participant that have done the achievement ,out of the Maybe who ever is manually listed there , their interest doesn't align with the interest of the rest? What are your thoughts?

By Al Masone. I wanted to know how popular in general all professions are, and a quick search led me to the site mentioned in the title. I'm asking because the picture I find there is rather different from what I imagined. I'm not surprised that guardian and necromancer are very popular, while mesmer, thief and ele are a bit more niche. What surprises me is that revenant and engineer seem to be the least popular classes, and by a fair margin. Revenant's lack of popularity might be due to having been released later, but engi not only was here from the start, it has 2 specs that I thought were quite sought after because they both perform pretty well, especially scrapper. I'm levelling an engi right now and fair enough, the core professions isn't that fun to play, despite all the toys at its disposal. I'm yet to reach level 80 and unlock the specs, so I can't say anything about them. So I guess I'd like to know if in general, engineer and revenant aren't considered among the most fun professions to play.

This can add up to large losses over time, and alternate methods may be more profitable, such as material trading. When you kill enemies, complete events and gather nodes, you accumulate a lot of crafting materials that go into your material storage. These can be worth a surprising amount of money on the Trading Post, ranging from 1 silver each for basic ore, wood, and leather, to 30 silver each for Vials of Powerful Blood. If you don't need these materials, you can convert them into liquid gold by selling them on the Trading Post. Relatedly, if you cannot make use of gear that drops, you can usually sell it on the trading post or salvage it for materials which may also be sold.
