The mercenary, Pip Bernadotte, and his group called the Wild Geese, ally with the Hellsing organization after being hired to fill the security gap following a brutal assault on the Hellsing Headquarters. As the leader of the Wild Geese, Pip Bernadotte is a skillful fighter, using guns as his weapons of choice - an AK47 and an army revolver. He and another skilled Hellsing fighter, Seras Victoria, develop a romantic relationship, and he ultimately sacrifices himself to save her life in a battle with Zorin Blitz, an officer for Millennium. Pip's spirit lives on though, as he becomes Seras's familiar after she drinks his blood, absorbing his soul and having it as a part of her for as long as she lives.
