Both the ALI Automotive Lift Institute and the lift manufacturer recommend checking torque on the anchors periodically. I have read on this forum Re-Torqueing of Mechanical Expansion Anchors the recommendation to re-torque wedge anchors no more than 3 times. Which advice should I follow? Hilti recommends that retorquing of a Kwik Bolt anchor be limited to 3 times to reduce the likelihood of failure from pulling the mandrel through the sleeve. Regards, Ashley.
