Meanwhile, Jill, Tim's wife, is struggling to keep up with her woodworking class and enlists the help of her neighbor, Wilson, who happens to be a master woodworker. As usual, Wilson provides some wise words of advice and teaches Jill the beauty of imperfection in her woodworking. At the cook-off, Tim's barbecue pit impresses the judges, but a mishap with his meat leaves him scrambling for a backup plan. On the other hand, Marty's dish receives high praise, and it seems like he might finally win the competition. In the end, both Tim and Marty learn valuable lessons about the importance of humility and teamwork, and the charity cook-off turns out to be a success.
