The food was good, wish the waitress explained things to us better. I did not appreciate being seated with two couples of either side so closely to the point we could all hear each others conversations. I go out to eat for the experience and So if you are looking for a quiet and intimate meal like I was, then you are going to be sadly disappointed. At least we were not seated by the window like some couples were. The waitress that was serving us seemed really frassled and I had to ask for water 4 times for water before getting any.

For once I have to say I was disappointed with a restaurant - their behaviour almost made me leave before ordering. Hoppers is a hyped restaurant that doesn't take reservations, so I had to queue to get in. That's fine, no problem. We arrived when it opened for the evening at 5. We had great expectations for this recently opened Sri Lankan restaurant serving hoppers, dosas and karis having spent a blissful honeymoon in the country.
