While looking at the map of Devil's Thirst, you can see a Tallneck icon. Southeast of the Tallneck is a ruined water tower. The datapoint is found underneath the water tower. Just a few steps South-West of the icon is a building. Inside that ruined building is the datapoint. The best way to find this is to simply head to the area on the map that is directly beneath the Devil's Thirst icon. You will find the datapad with this collectible sitting on a small hill among the buildings. Between the bandit camp and the Tallneck - at the height of the campfire - stands the ruin in which the datapad lays - in a corner. This datapoint is located in the east part of the Devil's Thirst area. If you look east of the Devil's Thirst mark and north of the Tallneck mark, outside the large building, the datapad is laying on top of a tiny hill, on the opposite side of the building's vintage point. Scan it to get the datapoint. If you travel North from Mother's Rise, you will pass a grazer site, folowed by a fork in the road. Take the right path until there is another grazer site and another fork in the road.

The added worldbuilding is great, though, and it gets you exploring around the very beautiful 'verse of HZD :P. Scan the frozen parchment on the ground next to a Carja corpse and fallen tree trunk.

Is there a map for Datapoints text, audio, scanned and holo in game? Or is it necessary to use online maps and guides? I ask because I don't want to lose access to any data files, if sections get closed or locked off after Story missions.
