From a good resource for beginners in-game, to an addition to the full collection of monsters, Grumpyre is a useful creature to own. To start the process, a Deedge is required. The first step would be to reach level 9 , Deedge will not be obtainable before then. The process to hatch a normal Deedge is as simple as breeding Thumpies and Toe Jammer. This is the best possible combination for success. There are several other monsters that could be used to produce a Deedge. Once Deedge is obtained, a three-element monster is required. This ranged anywhere from Congle to Thumpies, so there's no need to worry about which monster is the other parent. Yet, during an Ethereal Breeding Bonanza — which heightens the chances of producing more ethereal and mythical monsters — a Grumpyre might be easier to obtain. It's important to remember that Grumpyre is Ethereal, so mythical events won't apply to this creature. Now that you have both a Deedge and a three-element monster, it's time to breed them.
