The dome light stays on when the door is closed. I have checked the plungers with a multimeter. They work fine and open and close the circuit when needed, but the dome light continues to stay on. Messing with the dome light rheostat does nothing when this occurs. The only way to get the light to turn off and stay off is to put the ignition to ON. Then the light turns off, and won't turn on again until it should. I am certain it's that stupid module that keeps the light on for 30 seconds that is causing this issue, but no one has ever truly told me where it is.

Pull the relay, if the lights stay on check for a short in this wire to ground. To trouble shoot, do one at a time. It is possible that the brass upper contact on the front of the headlite switch can stick so that it causes this problem.

It's the lights that you can control the brightness with by spinning the dome light switch. They'll go off all of a sudden for a day or so, then just as sudden turn back on, only to repeat again. What do I have to replace to fix this? It shouldn't be a fuse right, that would just go out and stay out if that was the case?

It turned off after 10min. Content will be removed if CarGurus becomes aware that it violates our policies. UI have a new box in now and all is working well. The light was still staying on. Check the connection for the white wire with an ohm meter to verify the function or lack thereof. I just want to know where the freakin module is that controls the 30 second timed dome lights. Apparently the module responsible for this is actually the audio alarm module. I tried changing the door jamb switch and then removing the green box. The odd thing about it is that the interior lights were not turned on at the time this problem happened, the switch was in the off position.
