Not dripping off my face but just enough that the skin is slippery. Then I do the same thing but going upward. This causes less skin irritation and ensures I don't miss any patches of fuzz, and also gets anything I missed. Once done I rinse my face in lukewarm water, then apply a salicylic acid mud mask I use the one from Philosophy.
