The Hyundai ix20 is a clever piece of design. Yet it puts it a footprint the size of the Hyundai i20 supermini. So they went upwards and turned the i20 hatchback into a bit of an MPV. The style and dimensions of the ix20 work well. The grille takes up the full space on the front of the car on later examples. The tall, upright doors make getting into and out of the car easy, and the large tailgate allows easy access to the boot.

There have been lots of cars over the years that have failed to register with potential buyers; models have come and gone with few people even noticing.
