Superiority of these two techniques to one another has not yet been clearly demonstrated, ibrahim özsöyler. We aim to demonstrate the surgical and clinical experience of our institution regarding these two approaches.

Double-chambered right ventricle is a rare cardiac anomaly in adulthood. A year-old female patient was admitted to our hospital for complaints of dyspnea and chest pain. She was diagnosed as having a double-chambered right ventricle and atrial septal defect. Proximal right ventricular chamber pressure was mmHg, while pressures in the pulmonary artery and the distal right ventricular chamber were 22 mmHg. A right atriotomy and longitudinal right ventricular outflow tract incision were performed and her patent foramen ovale was closed. The muscular formation dividing the right ventricle into two compartments was successfully removed. No gradient remained after surgery. Viewed :

Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, forty-three consecutive patients operated for symptomatic carotid stenosis were divided into two groups according to the preferred surgical method CCEA and ECEA , and compared in terms of postoperative hospital stay, use of shunts and antibiotics, early day complications, long-term restenosis, and mortality rates. In the CCEA group, subjects had a significantly longer clamping time ECEA can be performed within a significantly shorter operative time and may decrease the necessity for shunting, although it may require specific experience. The patient required aortic valve replacement because of severely uncoated cusps secondary to inflammation of the aortic wall and aortic valve. There was a saccular formation just above the right non-coronary commissure. This sac was closed with a pericardial patch. Pledgeted sutures were used for implantation of the prosthetic valve to avoid periprosthetic leakage. The right coronary ostium had narrowed due to aortic wall thickening. A right internal thoracic artery to right coronary artery bypass was done since there was no necessity for proximal anastomosis.

Federal government websites often end in. The site is secure. Alkaptonuria is a rare inherited metabolic disease caused by homogentisic acid oxidase enzyme deficiency. Homogentisic acid formed during phenylalanine and tyrosine metabolism cannot be further metabolized and accumulates due to this enzyme deficiency. Some of the homogentisic acid that cannot be removed by metabolism is excreted with urine, some of it causes this accumulation known as ochronosis, which is characterized by dark pigmented color change in tissues. The classic clinical triad of the disease is darkening of the urine color, degenerative arthritis in the joints and dark colored pigmentation in the connective tissue. Herein, we present a case of ochronosis detected incidentally during aortic valve replacement with the diagnosis of aortic insufficiency.
