After how much the heroes have endured side by side, it is hard to imagine Uryu would turn his back on his friends. As standoffish as he portrays himself to be, Uryu has proved his caring nature numerous times. Like the others, he put his life on the line to rescue Orihime from Hueco Mundo, and he tried to stop Hollow Ichigo from becoming a mindless beast due to the bond they had developed. After everything they have gone through together, the very concept of Uryu abandoning his friends for the historic slight against the pride of the Quincy seems far too out of character.
