Izumi Uchiha was introduced late in the itachi lover. Her first appearance came in Naruto Shippuden. She is something of a mystery as fans are only given brief moments with her character.

When Itachi starts at the Academy, he sees that Izumi has also enrolled and she happily waves to him during the entrance ceremony. As Itachi's popularity grows, Izumi and all the girls at the Academy watch and admire him from afar, but Itachi brushes them off.

She had trouble controlling the Sharingan, even as she got older. Fugaku asked her to support Itachi through his loss, itachi lover, as he was unable to do so himself. They caught up as they spent time by the water.
