Welcome to Renzo's Bar! We're excited to introduce you to our unique establishment in the dynamic Docklands precinct. What sets us apart?

We use our own sourdough starter for our pizza process which ferments for a minimum of 48 hrs — the result is a base with a great flavour, sourdough taste and a texture that is light but with a bit of chew. All our pizzas are hand stretched, traditionally topped, and woodfired — Napoli style. We use extra virgin olive oil and organic sea salt flakes on all our dishes. All our pizzas are 12 inches in diameter. Our focus is on fresh seasonal and sustainable produce combined with key ingredients specifically imported from Italy to create an authentic Neapolitan pizza for our customers.

And, how to make something as simple as a meat ragu will vary from village to village. Bella Cosa, an Italian restaurant in Docklands, had a lot to live up to. We were invited to review and find out more. It has changed since I first visited and the space it occupied is now split, with a classy Indian restaurant on the top floor and Bella Cosa occupying the ground floor, with open kitchen, Pizza oven and pasta machine on hand. Though, they do offer a free taxi service for any office workers who want to enjoy a lunch of authentic Italian food cooked by an Italian chef. What of the food and wine though?
