Jack golf visa run
A visa run is a common procedure for many expats who need to extend or activate their Thai visa to allow them to further their stay in Thailand. There are a number of companies that jack golf visa run visa run services and the premise of their business is essentially the same. They travel via 9 passenger mini-van to the Ban Laem border which takes approximately 4 hours.
A visa run is a quick trip outside Thailand, usually to Cambodia, Malaysia or Laos, where you can renew the visa allowing you to remain in Thailand for another month. Jack Golf is probably the best known visa run service in Bangok. Before I got my work permit, I probably did visa runs with Jack Golf at least 10 times, so I know how they work. They have visa runs almost every day of the week and usually run two runs a day. The second visa run service Jack Golf runs starts at 9am and gets you back into Bangkok at 6pm more likely 7pm to 8pm because of traffic. I last did this about seven years ago and even though I still had a few months left on my visa, Immigration cancelled it and said I had to leave the country within 7 days. This is because the work permit is tied to the visa and is only available for that particular job. Immigration told me to leave the country and come back with a 30 day visa exemption stamp which can then be changed in Bangkok Immigration to a Non Immigrant B Visa. Last time I flew to Luang Prabang and made a holiday out of it. But this time, I just wanted to do the quickest way. Many people go on visa runs or border runs every day. There are a number of different companies that can help you with this. On my coach to the border there were about 30 other people. Some of them were extending multiple entry visas to get another 90 days. Others were tourists and wanted to get another 30 days.
Crackdowns take place from time to time but many still do their thing with numbers swelling after or PM. The middle floor bar reopened on November 1st….
There's something about the term visa run that sounds decidedly dodgy to me, conjuring up images of badly dressed foreigners with a few days' stubble being sneaked across international borders with a backdrop of fake visas, corrupt border officials and transnational crime. Is that the imagination running wild or is it close to reality? I recently met with Tanya, a charming Thai lady who survived the debacle that was the rapid demise of Jack Golf, Thailand's best known visa run company. From its ashes she has built her own visa run company, Bangkok Buddy. We chatted about the demise of Jack Golf, visa runs and what it's like as a Thai woman working to help foreign guys stay in Thailand legally. For those not familiar with you, what services do you provide? We provide the same services as Jack Golf did.

Respectfully you should have just stood-up to whomever at Jacks gave you this disinformation as in the following post:. This could mean days in detention. What pandemic?! Yes of course. A visa run is a quick trip outside Thailand, usually to Cambodia, Malaysia or Laos, where you can renew the visa allowing you to remain in Thailand for another month. Wandering around shirtless in the middle of the capital city amongst office buildings, office workers in what is still a conservative society is just poor form. To my amazement, many people agreed, seemingly undeterred that they could unwittingly be used as mules to transport something illegal across an international border. Do you think this is true? There are some people who want to live here who get money from their country. It's nice to see one of Pattaya's best bars, Bacarra, charging a reasonable price for water — just 70 baht. It is a silly bit of bureaucracy. An aberration or are things picking up a little? Once this is sorted then I will just go to immigration here once a year. I was a little disappointed that both times I used this service there was no one at the border ready to assist us and we were more or less left on our own to figure out the crossing procedure. I never had any problems with Jack Golf.
An annoying part of life for any foreigner living or traveling in Thailand for more than a few weeks, the dreaded visa run is a fact of life you have to get used to and must remember to do every time one is due. But, for the uninitiated, what is a visa run and how do you actually do one?
Some work, and some are looking for opportunities. At this point, the cheeky, big mouthed employee takes the opportunity to apologize for the delay. We're on the other side of the border for about 2 hours. I feel much better now. Search Go. Please I need your kind advice. How did Jack's Golf get to be so popular offering such utterly crap service? Whether a lady sits with a customer or not is very much their own decision. All are welcome. These things do happen from time to time. A friend ended up sitting next to Conan Stevens on a Jack Golf trip. Who knows….
