These were the issues Jeena Joseph had in mind when she met the Delhi Chief Minister over two years ago. After a brief interaction, she became a part of a committee with her colleagues, and the group eventually grew to members — till the first fissures with the management began. We used to eat together. But she was a part of the management and I was from the committee. The committee would listen to grievances of staffers and later started participating in protests against the management. Joseph alleged that after a few confrontations, she wrote a formal complaint to the grievance cell and was asked to meet them for an interaction. Instead, she was made to go for a psychiatric evaluation. Instead, two psychiatrists started asking me personal questions. I found out their designations and stopped the meeting.
