When we travel we really do not stress out much in making an itinerary, especially now that we have a little one on tow. We just make sure that we enjoy, have fun and of course eat good food. We research for good eats. We use Instagram accounts, blogs and recommendations when searching for restaurants or hole-in-the-wall finds. In our recent travel, we tried out a highly recommended food stall in Hong Kong that was just near our hotel. Join us as we share about one of the best pan fried buns that we have ever had. It only has a kitchen and a counter top where customers may stand while eating or may have the option to take away their order. But we were not hesitant to stuff ourselves with more food. So we went for it right away! Cheung Hing Kee is all about pan-fried buns with different fillings. We tried out 2 different flavors. Of course we had to try the classic, which is their Signature Buns and one of their best-sellers, the Black Truffle Buns. And damn! It was love at first bite! The broth for both buns tasted fresh and had a flavorful pork taste.
