Users who don't have those however can still play with the use of this control app. Activating the app turns your smartphone or mobile device into a motion controller letting you play Just Dance without a dedicated motion sensor. It also contains other features such as the ability to share Just Dance videos.

You'll soon be receiving an update to the Just Dance Controller app which will bring with it a new system that we're working with you to perfect - the Beta for the new Camera Controller! Our goal is to allow you to use your mobile device to play the game hands-free, with your phone's camera in landscape mode detecting your moves and scoring you accordingly.
