Meanwhile, Shamim a woman who had been Mushtaq's neighbour since childhood and has a crush on him has not given up hope that Mushtaq would marry her some day. He returns to his house in Lahore with Barbeena on the insistence of his niece Ayesha who refuses to attend her engagement in his absence.
