Karlach and wyll

The game puts the player in many difficult situations, with some even testing their morals.

Karlach in Baldur's Gate 3 is one of the best companions you can find, a tiefling Barbarian with a heavy metal backstory, hunted by Wyll and the Paladins of Tyr. There are several outcomes to this Baldur's Gate 3 questline, but obviously you need to make a few specific choices if you want Karlach Demonsbane as a party member in. With that in mind, we'll cover Karlach's location in BG3, how you can get her as a companion, and if she's looking for romance! We've got Karlach's location laid out for you on the map above. Karlach is simply sitting on a rock at the end of the path known as the Risen Road, while Anders and his warriors are in the abandoned Tollhouse in the ruined town North of her. To find Karlach and Anders, the only real option we know of at the time of writing is to get into the Blighted Village and head North, then East. Keep in mind that the village is occupied by Goblins though some dialogue checks will convince them to let you through , but the path leading East above the village is occupied by monstrous Gnolls - and there's no dialogue check that'll convince them that they want to do anything other than eat your gizzards.

However, some of them might not be recruitable together, or the player might face some issues while having them on the same team. To find Karlach, the player will have to head north from the Blighted Village until they reach a broken bridge. They will have to jump across to the other side of it. From the broken bridge, the player has to go to the right and continue directly, however, there will be some dangerous hyenas on the way there. The player should kill them before they start attacking them and stop them from getting reinforcements. If the players do this right, they can go on without having sustained any damage. Continuing down the road, the player will find Karlach, on the other side of a log. An issue with recruiting both Karlach and Wyll is that the latter will be turned into a Devil by his patron, Mizora. This doesn't affect the game much, other than maybe making him unattractive to some players. The first step to completing this is to kill Karlach. After killing Karlach, the player needs to go back to their camp.

The first step to completing this is to kill Karlach. They gradually become even closer, and by the end of the game, are thick intext:wallet.dat thieves. She and Wyll will argue, but you can convince the warlock Karlach isn't evil and he'll agree to spare her, karlach and wyll, as usual.

Companions play an important part in Baldur's Gate 3 , with the party at the core of the game's mechanics. Two companions whose stories are deeply intertwined are Wyll and Karlach, with one sent to hunt the other in Act 1. While Karlach is certainly a desired member in the party, it comes at a cost of Wyll, but there is a practical workaround to this issue. The problem with Karlach and Wyll can all be summed up with one word: Mizora. Mizora is Wyll's warlock patron who has tasked him to find and kill Karlach.

Karlach is a popular object of affection in Baldur's Gate 3 , but another companion can get in the way if players aren't careful. There are eight romanceable characters in the game, and Karlach is one of them. Romancing Karlach in BG3 involves completing her personal quest line and earning her approval whenever possible. She once served the manipulative Lord Gortash in Baldur's Gate, until he pawned her off to an archdevil named Zariel. Karlach spent many years working for Zariel in Avernus, one of the Forgotten Realms' Nine Hells, but escaped with her life. However, her heart was replaced with an Infernal Engine, and it's on the fritz. Wyll, meanwhile, is a human folk hero, known realms-wide as the Blade of Frontiers.

On one hand, if he obeys, he gets a reward, but the party misses out on an excellent barbarian companion in Baldur's Gate 3.

Baldur's Gate 3. Last edited by JStryker47 ; 30 Nov, pm. An issue with recruiting both Karlach and Wyll is that the latter will be turned into a Devil by his patron, Mizora. When taking a long rest, however, Karlach and Wyll will still have a confrontation, but nothing more than that. Most Popular. They're actually agents sent by her former master, Zariel, to drag her back to hell. However, there is a tricky workaround that allows Wyll to fulfill his mission and recruit Karlach, gaining the powerful Infernal Robe in the process. Aside from the fact that Karlach is basically an innocent trying to escape a horrible existence as a slave warrior trapped in literal Hell, Anders' willingness to throw others in the fire to save himself suggests he's not as much of a tragic hero as he claims. To complete this, the player must have in their inventory a very essential item - the scroll of revivify. Of course, if they're listening carefully, the player should realize that Karlach is no villain, and the paladins are lying. She calms herself and addresses Tav affably. The shared ending happens after the end battle in the final cutscene. Patch 2 added a new ending for Karlach, Wyll, and the player character to go to Avernus together, help each other survive, and avoid Zariel. However, getting this ending has quite a few requirements that you need to fulfill long before you reach Act 3.

Continuing down the road, the player will find Karlach, on the other side of a log. However, the player has the option to convince him otherwise as they realize she is not a bad person, and not a Devil, but a Tiefling. He will be uncertain about his decision to get Karlach killed. And it can only get worse from there. Karlach or Wyll choice. While the choice might seem obvious with companion versus equipment, there is a way to get both. With all that said, we definitely suggest that you choose to side with Karlach, to kill Anders and his team. She and Wyll will argue, but you can convince the warlock Karlach isn't evil and he'll agree to spare her, as usual. They'd make a hell of a power couple, and the protective attitude Karlach develops toward Wyll demonstrates that she truly feels for him.

  1. I apologise, but, in my opinion, you are not right. I am assured. Let's discuss it. Write to me in PM.

  2. I can not take part now in discussion - it is very occupied. I will be free - I will necessarily express the opinion.
