We have our own seat theatre in the centre of town, the former Wesley Chapel with a full programme of shows throughout the year. Our Kidz are not paid but be assured that they strive and succeed to attain the standard of professional productions.

As a small charity dedicated to youth theatre, this endeavour allows us to enhance our space and create an even more vibrant hub for creativity and artistic expression. To celebrate 30 years of outstanding youth theatre at Kidz R Us we are taking it back to where it all started with Joseph. To help us celebrate we have invited back some of our former members to join us at the world renowned Minack Theatre for this colourful and vibrant production. Follow Joseph through this wild journey of betrayal, love, acceptance and revelation underpinned by the outstanding music and lyrics of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. Tickets are on general release from 5th February through the Minack Theatre website. We offer the use of our theatre for hire for outside events and performances. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the running of our shows and would greatly appreciate any help you can offer. We offer workshops for aspiring performers, such as the February Half-Term Theatre Workshops which offers tuition and guidance from a hand-picked group of theatre professionals from across the country. This was such a success that the audience begged for more, and Kidz R Us was born. Barry Cockroft parent. Kidz is a registered charity dedicated to developing young people through practical engagement in the performing arts, and helping to increase their confidence and maturity. We have welcomed hundreds of youngsters through our doors as performers, or to our workshop weeks and regular classes. None of this would be possible without a small army of dedicated adult volunteers, providing all the support services for our productions, from costume making to chaperoning, front of house to stage management. Kidz R Us has become a formidable cultural force within Penwith and has been showered with awards and critical acclaim. The opening performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was staged at the internationally renowned open-air Minack Theatre and won the trophy for the outstanding production of the year.
