I gave this a 3 star because I think the slicer deserves a 1 star and the graters deserve a 4 star. Overall, it's a really well made unitand it chops FAST - on low speed it will thick slice an entire cucumber in under 2 seconds Some say that it's the best accessory to start with as an addition to their mixer, as it kitchenaid stand mixer slicer & shredder all the work.
