Out of all action-oriented shounen anime out there, Hunter x Hunter kurapika power has one of the most, if not the most, complex power systems.

In the series' first story arc, he befriends the protagonist and Hunter participant Gon Freecss after having a fight with Leorio Paradinight. After many trials together, Gon and his friends end up passing the exam. While preparing to find information about the Troupe, Kurapika learns of his Nen, a Qi-like life energy used by its practicers to manifest parapsychological abilities, which he specifically develops for his revenge quest. The character is voiced by Noriko Hidaka in the animated film, Yuki Kaida in the series and Miyuki Sawashiro in the series in Japanese. Critical response to Kurapika's character has been positive due to his constant changes between his quest for revenge and friendship with the rest of the cast.

ShineLight I love the idea of this challenge so I decided to go for it. Though I doubt anyone will really enjoy reading this, haha The topic is probably done to death. My topic is the same thing that bothered me so much that I thought about it instead of sleeping Let me just get this out here: I don't hate him. Almost all the main characters in HunterXHunter are likable, Kurapika included. I like that in comparison to more emotional characters like Leorio, Kurapika is a bit more level-headed but not horribly condescending unless talking to Leorio, but that's just them, haha. He appreciates that his friends sometimes think with their hearts first, and he doesn't always bottle it all up with them because he trusts and cares of them. Plus, he tends to have some good comebacks. So I like his character a lot!

Kurapika is the last living member of the Kurta clan, a clan of people who was hunted down and murdered by a group of thieves called the Phantom Troupe so they could steal the clan's Scarlet Eyes, which are considered treasures due to their beauty. However, Kurapika managed to escape, and he swore that he would take revenge on the Phantom Troupe. After he got older, Kurapika took the Hunter Exam, hoping to become a Hunter so he could track down the members of the Troupe. After separating from his friends, Kurapika learned the art of Nen and became a bodyguard for the Nostrade mafia family. During this time, he managed to kill Uvogin , one of the Phantom Troupe's strongest members, and remove the Nen abilities of Chrollo Lucilfer , the Troupe's leader, and decided to track down his clan's eyes and take them all back from the people who managed to get them. Hunter x Hunter 's Gon sets out on his adventure to become a Hunter and find his father, Ging. Setting out from Whale Island at the age of 11, Gon aims to pass the Hunter Exam and meets a lot of people along the way, which is what makes the series so incredible to watch. Kurapika is one of the main characters in Yoshiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter. He is one of Gon's best friends and plays a significant role in some of the most important arcs in the series , such as the York New City arc and, later, the Succession Contest arc as well. Kurapika is a fan favorite character and, as such, there are quite a few things that every fan of his should know about him. Kurapika made his debut quite early in the series. Being one of the main characters, it was expected of him to show up early and he did just that in the manga, making an appearance in the second chapter.
