La Maison du Steak is a French restaurant near Cambridge station.

It has been on my list for years but for one reason or another it has always managed to escape me. La Maison Du Steak is a family run restaurant. You may remember their popular French cafe that unfortunately closed back in , Le Gros Frank. The restaurant is cosy and intimate with a stylish yet traditional interior. The menu is divided up into all the different selections of meat on offer, from fish, beef, chicken, and lamb. It has taken me a long time to get here, I had heard a lot about their tomahawk steaks and I had quite an appetite on me, so I decided to go for it!

Will definitely be back! January Went out for a dinner here. The service was quite good. We both had had the Sirloin steak, which was quite nice.

The steak was a little underdone the first time around but they were happy to give it a little longer, after I sent it back to the kitchen.
