The restaurant is located in the heart of the Gothic Jewish Quarter and has real local charm and rustic atmosphere. Finding it was a little challenging because it is tucked away in the maze of narrow medieval streets that make up much of the Gothic Quarter but we loved getting away from the mainstream restaurants. We had dinner here twice. We ordered too many fried things and way too much food. We went again several nights later and this time we asked the waiter for advise. He suggested dishes that complemented each other and advised us which ones to order as half portions, rather than full portions. Should have done this the first time. It made all the difference. I would definitely come here again. Although the owner is a little 'Basil Fawlty' like, to us he was friendly and attentive. We had booked a table in advance. The tables and stools are quite small [so if you're Basil was thrilled when we ordered x2 bottles of wine, and he was over the moon at our choice.

Very cool! Fish restaurant is amazing! Go early to avoid queues or just go for a drink. They have a few vegetarian dishes and great wine. Friendly service too. Try the coconut mousse dessert. Good food and service.
