I bought the one year premium version and it took me less than a week to decide it was well worth the upgrade to a forever version. After making the upgrade purchase and downloading the new license. Out of curiosity I tried loading the XML file to the "upgrade" site again and it told me " Error: License is already a forever-updates license and does not need to be upgraded or renewed " so it looks like it is registered succesfully somewhere.
