Lego modular buildings moc
Here is my latest and largest town MOC.
There are several modulars on there, but this one looks so lovely. I like the colour blocking, height variation, shaping, and all the details in it. I hope that the building experience holds up to the aesthetics. I also very much like this, mainly for the different angle shape, I kind of wish the boutique hotel angle was more like this so it fits better in my street. Now starting to think that MOC instructions like this might be the future of my Lego collecting and can see the extra fun of figuring out which parts I need and adapting them. I will hold out hope that next years Modular is a post office, maybe the museums post box, is a clue. DuckBricks has a a good interview with the designer.

This building is aimed to the architecture and and icons fans mostly. It works on its own but is able to connect to other modular buildings so people can implement it to their own amazing lego cities!
Have you ever seen a teenage T-rex in museum close to you? For example, I removed everything bar the instructions, and just bought those. The radio on the shelf is meant for music for patrons.
Some of these custom builds are completely new creations, while others are alternate builds for either the official Modulars, or other LEGO sets. Some LEGO fans share pictures and even instructions of their custom and alternate builds on their social media pages, own website, or Rebrickable. They provide downloadable building instructions for custom LEGO Modular Buildings as well as Modular street-compatible vehicles, landscaping modules, and more. A recent category added to the Brickative. If you would like to build your own custom Modulars, alternate builds for existing LEGO sets are a great option.
In this article, we will be discussing the art of modular designing and building with LEGO. The modular design not only adds a level of intricacy and detail to your builds, but it also allows for easy transport and rearrangement in the display. Lego modular building is a fun and creative hobby involving constructing buildings and structures with LEGO blocks. Using specialized parts to construct the base of the structure, then adding detailed elements such as windows, doors, roofs, and minifigures helps bring a scene to life. With an ever-growing library of official sets from Lego or custom creations from fans, the possibilities are endless. Lego modular building allows its creators to become architects, engineers, and designers while also providing a unique opportunity for storytelling and problem-solving. The bricks are to be placed on the 10th and 11th stud from the edge of the base plate. This might be a simple step but seeing these bricks in fixed positions on a baseplate may ease your mind that you have started something and may relieve your anxiety over the tasks ahead. Continue by adding studs in depth of dark bluish-grey tiles depending on how deep you want the building to be from the street. This depth may change as you develop the layout of the building but placing them will give you an idea of where to start the main structure of your building.

We've been here since Very nice design, excellent Service. Didn't built it yet, but building instructions are very convenient and clear, and it is even fun to look after the needed bricks. Very thorough instructions. I liked that you included the "how to" for the uploading of the parts list to BrickLink.

Posted November 2, edited. It has the same size roughly as the museum building. There seem to be so many constraints that are holding Lego designers back that today it is almost impossible for them to design a modular that is on par with the mocs. More greenery for next modular buildings, please! I will hold out hope that next years Modular is a post office, maybe the museums post box, is a clue. The Natural History Museum looks amazing! Sure it's bigger, but not particularly better. Building techniques. I hope that the building experience holds up to the aesthetics. Thanks for the updates! Sign In Sign Up. Some fine grit sand paper for the edge and some buffing compound would take care of the sharp edges too. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment. But with the years i loose more and more interest in Lego sets because it feels like i have seen hundreds of mocs that i like more than any official Lego Modular. The 2 statues on the middle floor is also a nice touch I am happy with. Are they plans that you buy like on Rebrickable? It's somewhat frustrating that you can't get a CSV of the parts or add them to a wanted list, but they've said it's something they'll work on in the future, based on this pilot. I like the colour blocking, height variation, shaping, and all the details in it. It is by no means a bad set - I'll definitely pick it up. And this doesn't do that. Join other subscribers.
