Prepare to do nothing else for the rest of your life. This huge set is a whopping 3, pieces and took me about 9 hours to complete. That would be quite the challenge! A lot of the pieces seem to go into reinforcing the walls and floor. This set is so massive it even came with a box inside the box that had more bags of LEGO pieces inside them. The second UCS set to get a remake, Sandcrawler, arrived at my doorstep last week. The review was to be embargoed until May 3th, the official on sale date of the set, but it miraculously got lifted a few days ago. This was both good and bad. The good? And as a side benefit it helps the site s out by driving traffic. The bad? Bad because I was counting on the lead time to the 4th to get my review done. I managed to rearrange my schedule a bit to get this review done sooner rather than later and here we are. One of the things I had planned was to rebuild the original set so I can do a side by side. But not having the luxury of time from an accelerated review schedule prevented me from doing so. I may still go back and rebuild it anyway for giggles. But no matter because Sandcrawler is really nice. The box. The box has a brand new design.

I built it took me about 6 hours on and off in 2 days time period! The set is a bit complicated, about lego sandcrawler bags in total! Great job!
